WADIS 24 – AEROSOL 400 ML
WATER DISPLACING LUBRICANT WADIS 24 – AEROSOL 400 ML displaces water and humidity while forming a thin, translucent, soft film with good anti-corrosive properties. It provides excellent dielectric properties and also acts as a releasing and lubricating agent.
WATER DISPLACING LUBRICANT WADIS 24 – AEROSOL 400 ML is a water-displacing lubricant that removes water and humidity from treated surfaces while providing water repellency through a thin, translucent and soft protective film with good anti-corrosive properties. It is free from boron, silicone and barium.
WADIS 24 has excellent dielectric properties and can be used without hazard on switch gears and control gears, including high tension equipment. It also functions as a releasing and lubricating agent.
Features and Benefits
- Has a strong affinity for metallic surfaces, superior to that of water.
- Its extremely low surface tension and strong capillary attraction enable it to rapidly substitute itself for water, penetrating into fine porosities and fissures to form a monomolecular, tight, insulating and protective film.
- Does not attack paints, plastics or rubbers.
- Forms a translucent, soft and thin film that allows parts to be inspected without prior removal.
- Successive applications do not accumulate; a new application dissolves the existing film and forms a new film.
- Compatible with mineral oils, allowing protected parts to come directly into contact with other lubricants and hydraulic fluids.
- Can be used as a lubricant for shallow forming without additional protection.
- Does not need to be removed before machining operations. It rapidly mixes with cutting oil without risk of dirtying.
- Compatible with long-lasting protectives such as SOCOPAC.
Water Displacement and Long-Lasting Protection
For substrates exposed to condensation where both water displacement and long-lasting protection are required, WADIS 24 should be applied first to displace the water. SOCOPAC 50 can then be applied to provide protection for several years.
