DECARBONIZER / DESCALER HDL 202 210L/55GAL PLAST DRUM is a heavy duty alkaline liquid for removing carbon deposits, complex metallic oxides and heat scale from hot sections of jet engines during aircraft maintenance operations. It is approved for use on high-strength or high heat-resistant alloys and provides consistent performance even as the bath ages.
DECARBONIZER / DESCALER HDL 202 210L/55GAL PLAST DRUM is a heavy duty alkaline liquid for removing carbon deposits, complex metallic oxides and heat scale from hot sections of jet engines during aircraft maintenance operations. It provides consistent performance even as the bath ages.
HDL-202 is a viscous liquid blend of strong alkalies and chelants. It conditions adherent scale for complete removal in subsequent processes, such as scale oxidation in an alkaline permanganate bath followed by scale removal in an acid bath. A 304 or 316 Stainless Steel Tank Unit is recommended for use.
