PreKote is an all-in-one, non-chromated surface pretreatment for metal and composite substrates prior to priming and painting. It replaces chromate and non-chromate conversion coating systems and can also be used as an adhesion promoter for metal-to-metal bonding. Supplied in a 5 gallons pail.
PreKote is an all-in-one, non-chromated surface pretreatment product for metal and composite substrates prior to priming and painting. Available in both liquid and wipe form, PreKote can also be used as an adhesion promoter for metal-to-metal bonding.
PreKote replaces both chromate and non-chromate conversion coating systems, as well as acid etches, solvent washes and other toxic substances used during surface preparation. It is a flexible pretreatment that works with virtually any paint or bonding process, including large surface area paint jobs, immersion processes and touch-up applications.
