SOCOGEL B0202 / 250 ML

ADHESION PROMOTER SOCOGEL B0202 / 250 ML is a pre-paint surface preparation sol-gel with enhanced adhesion and anti-corrosion properties. It is designed to increase the adhesion of aircraft primer and paint on metallic surfaces.

SOCOGEL B0202 is developed from technology licensed by BOEING. The sol-gel conversion product is an aqueous solution of zirconium salts activated by an organo-silicon compound. After application, the solution forms a high-performance hybrid coating that enhances the adhesion of paint systems on metals and alloys such as aluminium, titanium and stainless steel.

SOCOGEL B0202 performances comply with current aeronautical requirements and provide an alternative to chromate conversion technologies. No rinsing is required after application, helping reduce operating costs and effluent treatment. SOCOGEL B0202 is supplied as a colourless, 2 component kit.
