NEUTRAL DERUSTER HDL-73W 20L/5,3 GAL PLAST PAIL is a neutral deoxidizer and engine cleaner for hot-section components of gas turbine engines, formulated to remove rust, metallic oxides and heat scale without strong acids and with a pH near neutrality.
NEUTRAL DERUSTER HDL-73W 20L/5,3 GAL PLAST PAIL is a neutral deoxidizer and engine cleaner for the hot section of gas turbine engines. It removes rust, metallic oxides and heat scale while sequestering metal particles such as oxides and ions that are not chemically related to the substrate surface.
HDL 73W is a key component of an innovative 3-step process for the removal of complex metallic oxides. To complete the surface treatment, immersion in an alkaline permanganate solution (HDL 2524) is recommended, followed by a return to HDL 73W.
